Last Wednesday night 9th-11th graders from Tahoma and Rainier played the part of college admissions committees. They evaluated applications to determine which mock applicants would be accepted, waitlisted, or denied admission. The students spoke persuasively about the merits and gaps in each application and reflected on their own academic preparations. We invite 9th-11th graders to join our next College Night on April 21: Personalizing the College Process.
We're grateful to the families who joined us at Tahoma this past Saturday morning to do painting touch-ups and gardening, and later acted as ambassadors for our New Family Welcome. We welcomed dozens of new families who are planning to join Tahoma next year. The afternoon was fun and festive! But YOU are our best recruitment tools. Attaining full enrollment for each grade level helps us build a strong school culture and receive full funding for our operations and programs. Please contact Mr. Kim for more information on how you can help recruit students for next year.
