As part of ensuring Tahoma students have a well rounded education and college-going experiences, each spring students embark on study trips.  These extended field trips expand student learning beyond the school walls and give students an opportunity to visit a variety of colleges. This year we're headed to:

9th Grade: Cal State Monterey, UC Santa Cruz, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium, April 25-26. Sign up to drive or help:

10th/11th Grades: Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, UC Santa Barbara, UCLA, Loyola Marymount University, the Museum of Tolerance, and the Getty Museum,March 16-18. Sign up to drive or help:

12th Grade: Field trip to Stanford University for a voting rights project as part of AP Government on March 4.  Traveling by CalTrain.

As with all of our off-campus trips, our study trips are not  possible without family support.  For 9th-11th grades, we need dozens of parents to drive and chaperone.  Chaperones will have the opportunity to tour the colleges and participate in activities.  Once we have chaperones confirmed, we will hold an informational meeting to give more details.

Help make these valuable experiences possible!
