School Accreditation Visit

Every school undergoes a regular accreditation process to ensure a quality program and continued commitment to learning.  The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) sends a team of educators to study the school over the course of several days and to help the school reflect on what's called a "self study".

This week a WASC team of three experienced educators is visiting Tahoma, including the Superintendent of the Mountain View/Los Altos High School District, Jeff Harding.  The team will meet with our faculty, tour classrooms, and meet with groups of students.  Parents from Tahoma's PIVOT group will also meet with the team.  The WASC team will help us better define our strengths and areas for growth.  We are optimistic about receiving a strong accreditation!
