We resume our school year with Expeditions and welcome the Expeditions faculty back to Tahoma for two weeks.  Expeditions provides the opportunity for students to explore their passions but it’s important to remember these classes are also graded.  Students should engage with the same focus and engagement as with core classes.  You can contact the Expeditions teachers by calling our school or by calling or emailing Ms. Caitlin Reilly, our Expeditions Director ( with any questions.

We also want to recognize the hard work of students in the weeks before winter vacation.  Many of our students caught up in all their coursework.  Great job!  During these next two weeks, “the line doesn’t move” in students’ online PLP (Personalized Learning Plan) meaning that every student has the chance to get caught up in their core coursework before core classes resume January 19.  Each afternoon from 3:00-4:00, students will be with their regular Tahoma teachers for EPAT (Expeditions Project and Assessment Time ) which provides students the opportunity to make progress in their core coursework.  We’ll also continue to hold Office Hours before school each day.

We are proud of the work our students put in during the first semester.  Here's to a great second semester and an excellent two weeks of Expeditions!
