Pushing students to their academic limits requires genuine, trusting relationships that thrive in transparent environments. Each student is placed in a "mentor group" of about 15 other students with a teacher who stays with the group, typically for the entire 4-years of their high school career.  Our faculty and our students know and respect each other.

Our mentorship program ensures that students are excelling in the classroom each day – all the way through graduationMentors at Summit Public Schools:
  • Act as coaches helping students in their self-directed learning development as well as their learning cycle.
  • Serve as the on-campus adult connection for students and home.  
  • Act as college counselors, facilitating students' college going experience.
